dry web offset webThe new range of  DRY-WEB drying systems  manufactureded by G.Technologies combines a high lamp power specification to small lamp dimensions, which allows their installation on most of rotary offset presses. The DRY-WEB series allows the user to install either mixed air-fluid cooling (DQ and DQ1) or air-cooled reflectors (RQN and RQW). Their flexibility is achieved by adjustable lamp height, controlled through a series of cams.

 

  DQ Reflector
DQ
The new 'DQ' dichroic reflectors by G Technologies have been specifically  designed to dry UV inks and varnishes on metal by maintaining high production speeds and low temperatures when printing. They are manufactured in aluminium and are installed either, interdeck, between units or on a conveyor after the last print unit where interdeck installation is not possible. The vacuum created by the cooling fans as well as the pressured circulation of the cooling fluid, and the anti-reflection protection guards assure low operation temperatures and absolute safety to the operators as well as the vicinity around the machine.
The rotation of reflectors is synchronized with the production of the machine allowing the lamps to reduce power during production pauses. Reflectors are easily removable for maintenance.
Special quartz barriers, treated with dielectric multilayer material can be incorporated between lamp and substrate in order to obtain an excellent UV ray reflection and a considerable IR radiation reduction. The reflectors can be supplied with specific powers up to 240 W/cm and 2000 mm. arc.
 
 
 
 
 
DQ1 Reflector

The new 'DQ1' dichroic reflectors are an evolution of the DQ reflectors and, like them, have been designed to reach high production speeds with low temperatures when printing. They are manufactured in aluminium and can be installed both on C.I (central impression) drum machines (space permitting) as well as Stack (tower) configuration. The vacuum created by the cooling fans as well as the pressured circulation of the cooling fluid, and the anti-reflection protection guards assure low operation temperatures and absolute safety to the operators as well as the vicinity around the machine.
The rotation of reflectors is synchronized with the production of the machine allowing the lamps to reduce power during production pauses. Reflectors are easily removable for maintenance.

RQN Reflector

The new RQN reflectors combines a high power lamp with compact size,  which allows installation on most of narrow web presses currently on the market.   Similar in design and build to the RQW reflector, they are extremely sturdy and made of four anodized aluminium extrusions with a light outer case. The inner  surface is covered by special dichroic mirrors able to reflect 98% of UV  radiation and absorb more than 85% of IR radiation.
The RQW reflectors are cooled by air forced through the inner reflective housing which ensures an efficient and economic elimination of heat and ozone. The design of the inner surface specifically promotes reduced  contamination from volatile particles given off by the ink or varnish  as well as dust. The reflectors can be supplied with specific powers up to 200 W/cm and 550 mm. arc.

Unlike the DQ reflectors the new RQW reflectors have been designed by G Technologies to meet UV drying requirements on metal decorating offset machines where Interdeck installation is not possible. They are extremely sturdy and made of four anodized aluminium extrusions with a light outer case. The inner  surface is covered by special dichroic mirrors able to reflect 98% of UV  radiation and absorb more than 85% of IR radiation.

The RQW reflectors are cooled by air forced through the inner reflective housing which ensures an efficient and economic elimination of heat and ozone. The design of the inner surface specifically promotes reduced  contamination from volatile particles given off by the ink or varnish  as well as dust. The reflectors can be supplied with specific powers up to 240 W/cm and 1700 mm. arc.
